SenAer Trading Appoints Conor O’Brien as Partner

Former head of Tax and Legal at KPMG Ireland to join digital aircraft trading business

Appointment underscores SenAer’s commitment to delivering solutions for its clients

Dublin | 15 September 2021: SenAer Trading (‘SenAer’), the global aircraft trading platform, is pleased to announce that Conor O’Brien, former head of Tax and Legal at KPMG Ireland, has joined the SenAer team as a Partner.

Mr. O’Brien has more than 20 years’ relevant experience and, in conjunction with his former colleagues in KPMG, played a central role for driving regulatory support for the development of the aviation leasing industry in Ireland; work which has helped establish and maintain Ireland’s position as the global centre for aircraft leasing.

SenAer was founded to create a digital trading platform to facilitate trading in aircraft by airlines, lessors and institutional investors with a particular focus on widening access to capital beyond the traditional buyers of aviation assets.

Nollaig Murphy of SenAer commented: “Following the successful launch of our digital aircraft trading platform, we are delighted to welcome Conor to the team. Conor will bring significant and long-standing experience to SenAer’s clients through his deep industry expertise, unrivalled knowledge of the aviation tax landscape and global industry relationships.
